Apparently the cast of Mama's Family served as inspiration for part of Lane Bryant's winter collection.
Since I'm attending a holiday party on Saturday, I decided to peruse the Giant's web site in hopes that they would have SOMETHING that would look nice and cute and cheerful and make some cutie want to snuggle with me under the mistletoe.
But no, The Giant fails me again. Apparently they think that I love to wear tent dresses, large prints and fashion from 15 years ago. Apparently the folks at Charming Shoppes have spent tireless hours headhunting designers straight from Roaman's so that women don't have to browse through a catalog to get a dress that matches their upholstery.
I mean, you know, it's not like i'm too picky. I just, you know, don't want to go in to the party looking like i'm going to start sneaking h'ors doeuvres in my blouse.
I mean, sometimes a gal just wants to go to a festive party without looking like she got lost on the way to the Howdy Doody Fan Club meeting.
And really, sometimes a woman just doesn't understand the concept of paying 50 dollars for a fugly blue peasant blouse.
I mean, you know, but that's just me.
And thank goodness I wasn't looking for a skirt.
Maybe I'll just save my money and buy some cute earrings or something.
